| A visit to the medieval fortified city of Mdina with its labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys enriched by magnificent palaces, houses,
churches and an imposing cathedral. The imposing Bastions offer breathtaking views of the island. Just outside the old Capital's Greek Gate lies the village of Rabat with
its churches and Roman Catacombs, Buskett gardens and Dingli Cliffs. There will be a stop for lunch after which we drive to Ta' Qali Crafts Village to watch the local artisans at
work producing typical Maltese ware which includes glass, silves, filigree and pottery where shopping will be allowed. Finally we proceed to view the famous Mosta Dome. (The Rotunda) |

einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Insel. Asserhalb des griechischen Stadttors besuchen sie die Vorstadt Rabat mit all ihren Kirchen und den Roemischen Katakomben. Weiter gehr's zu den Buskett Gaerten
und den Dingli Klippen. Mittagessen wird serviert und anschliessend geht's zum Ta' Qali Handwerksdorf, wo Sie den maltesischen Kuenstlern bei ihrer Arbeit zusehen koennen, die typisches maltesisches Handwerk anfertigen, wie
Glass, Silber, Filligran, Keramik...Es besteht Zeit zum Einkaufe. Zum Abschluss besichtigen Sie noch den beruehmten Mosta dom, die Rotunda. |
